Terms and Conditions of Service
1. Introduction and Agreement
Welcome to Custom-Coasters.com.au (the “Site”), owned and operated by Zanda Media (ABN 63 605 528 541). These Terms and Conditions of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site and the purchase of any goods from us.
By accessing, browsing, or using this Site, and/or placing an order with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Site or purchase products from us.
2. Placing Orders and Acceptance
2.1 Quotations
All price quotations provided by Custom-Coasters.com.au are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change after this period.
2.2 Order Submission
Orders are considered final once placed via our website, email, or written agreement. An order is not deemed accepted by Custom-Coasters.com.au until you have received a written Order Confirmation (typically via email) and payment has been processed according to the agreed-upon terms.
2.3 Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)
All orders are subject to our stated Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) per product and design. Orders placed below the MOQ may be rejected or subject to alternative pricing.
3. Pricing, Payments, and Billing
3.1 Pricing
All prices listed on the Site or in quotations are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST, unless explicitly stated otherwise. GST will be added at the checkout or on the final invoice where applicable. Prices do not include delivery charges, which will be calculated and added to the final invoice.
3.2 Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in your quote and invoice. Standard terms require full payment upfront before production begins. For established trade accounts or large volume orders, specific payment plans may be negotiated and must be agreed upon in writing.
3.3 Billing Entity
All payments will be processed by, and will appear on your bank or credit card statement as, Zanda Media. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to this billing arrangement.
4. Artwork and Design
4.1 Artwork Requirements
Customers are responsible for providing print-ready artwork that meets our specifications (e.g., file format, resolution, bleed). Artwork that does not meet these requirements may be subject to additional charges for modification by our in-house design team, with your approval.
4.2 Artwork Approval and Proofing
- Custom-Coasters.com.au will provide a digital proof of the design for your review and approval prior to production.
- Production will not begin until we receive your written final approval.
- The customer is solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of the final proof, including color, layout, spelling, and grammar.
- Any errors in the final product that were present on the approved proof are the sole responsibility of the customer, and we will not be liable for the cost of reprinting.
4.3 Color Matching
While we strive for the closest match possible, color consistency can vary slightly due to the absorbent nature of coaster board, printing processes, and the difference between screen display and final print. We will match to the specified Pantone (PMS) or CMYK codes provided, but do not guarantee an exact color reproduction.
5. Production, Delivery, and Fulfillment
5.1 Lead Time
Our standard production lead time is 7–10 business days from the date of final artwork approval and payment clearance. This is an estimate, and we are not liable for reasonable delays due to unforeseen circumstances or peak demand periods.
5.2 Shipping
We utilise third-party couriers for delivery. The customer acknowledges that shipping times provided are estimates from the courier and are not guaranteed by Custom-Coasters.com.au. Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to the customer upon dispatch from our premises.
5.3 Order Tolerance
Due to the nature of large-volume manufacturing, a variance of up to 5% (over or under) in the quantity of goods delivered is considered acceptable and constitutes fulfilment of the order. You will be billed for the actual quantity shipped.
6. Returns, Refunds, and Defects
6.1 Claims for Defects
Any claim by the customer that the goods are defective or do not match the approved artwork proof must be made in writing within 7 days of delivery. You must provide photographic evidence of the defect.
6.2 Returns and Liability
If Custom-Coasters.com.au determines the defect is a result of our manufacturing process or a clear error that was not present in the final approved proof, we will offer a refund, credit, or full replacement of the defective items. Our liability is strictly limited to the cost of the goods purchased. We are not liable for consequential loss or damages.
6.3 Non-Returnable Goods
Due to the custom nature of our products, goods cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded based on a change of mind, design errors present in the approved proof, or color variances inherent to the printing process.
7. Intellectual Property
The customer warrants that they have the right and license to use any logos, text, designs, or trademarks submitted for printing. The customer agrees to indemnify and hold Custom-Coasters.com.au harmless from any and all claims, demands, or damages arising out of any alleged intellectual property infringement arising from the printing of the customer’s supplied artwork.
8. General Provisions
8.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
8.2 Amendments
Custom-Coasters.com.au reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
