What are the current custom coaster prices?
Prices start at $150 + GST for 500 coasters printed on one side, round or square. Printing both sides of 500 costs $160 + GST. At 1,000 printed on one side, square coasters are still $150 + GST and round ones are $195 + GST. Bigger runs cost less per coaster, and every price is ex GST.

Double sided 1,000 runs use heavier 390gsm board, which is part of why the jump from one side to two is so big. Delivery is quoted separately.
Why do 1,000 square coasters cost the same as 500?
Square coasters printed on one side cost $150 + GST whether you order 500 or 1,000. That is not a typo. We keep the 500 run on the list because some customers only want 500, but if you can use the extra coasters, 1,000 square gets you double the stock for the same money.
The deal only applies to square. Round coasters at 1,000 are $195 + GST, so if the shape is not critical to your design, square is the cheaper way into the bigger run. What changes the price of custom coasters?
Four things move the price: quantity, board weight, one or two printed sides, and shape once you reach 1,000. Larger runs cost less per coaster. 365gsm board is cheaper than 390gsm. Single sided is cheaper than double sided. From 1,000 up, round coasters cost more than square ones, while at 500 both shapes cost the same.
- Quantity. 500 single sided coasters cost $150 + GST and 5,000 cost about $395 + GST. The more you order, the less each coaster costs.

- Sides printed. One side keeps the cost down. For 1,000 round coasters, one side is $195 + GST and both sides on 390gsm is $390 + GST.
- Shape. Round and square are the same price at 500. At 1,000, round is $195 + GST against $150 + GST for square.
Print method follows quantity: 500 and 1,000 are printed digitally, and larger runs are printed offset.
Are there setup fees or design charges?
There are no setup fees on any order. Design is free for simple designs and for new customers, and complex graphics cost $90 + GST. If you supply print ready artwork, you pay for the coasters and delivery only. Once we have your artwork, a proof normally comes back within 1 to 2 hours.
The cheapest design is usually the best one. Crowded coasters are the error we see most: too much information and text too small to read. A logo, one clear message and a web address or QR code reads better across a bar than a crowded layout, and a simple design is free.
How is delivery priced, and how fast is it?
Delivery is quoted per order because the cost depends on quantity, and 10,000 coasters make a very different parcel to 500. Runs up to 2,000 are dispatched within 48 hours. Larger runs take 5 to 7 working days. Delivery then takes 1 to 2 days to most major cities.
We send with StarTrack, Direct Freight Express and Express Post. The 48 hour dispatch on 500 and 1,000 coasters is our standard short run, not a paid extra, so a tight deadline does not add a rush fee.
Is it cheaper per coaster to order in bulk?
Yes. The price per coaster falls a long way as quantity climbs. 5,000 single sided coasters cost about $395 + GST, and new customers can get 10,000 round coasters on 365gsm, printed one side with one design, for $830 + GST. Artwork and delivery are extra on that offer.
